Spring Break

Since Kyle and I lucked out and managed to have a 3 day weekend off together from both of our school schedules- we decided to pack up the car and run away to Vegas for the weekend!  It was so much fun!

Thursday: As soon as Kyle got off work we were loaded up into the car and on the road- it wouldn't have been too bad for a drive except for the stupid Utah County traffic (I hate that stretch of I-15).  We got in at 11ish- and Lola decided it was play time- all night long!  She decided we needed to be up at 2,4, and 6 because she was well rested from our 6.5 hour car ride

Friday:  Kyle decided that he goes on vacation to hang out at the Anderton home and not do anything- so that is a lot of what we did.  His only trip away was to petsmart for some treats and a new floating toy for Lola- otherwise we lounged around the pool and hung out with his family :)

 Saturday:  We spent the entire day playing outside and enjoying the 80 degree weather!  Kyle, Gary, and Lola played outside and ran

Then we headed off to Lake Mead.  Lola finally went swimming for the first time (with a lot of encouragement and possibly being pushed in)  But she loved running along the shoreline and playing in the shallow water

It was such a fun weekend!  All the outdoor excitement was followed by a barbecue and shopping :)
