Well its been a lovely Utah Spring so far, with alternating 60s and sunshine, and SNOW! It is getting to be quite ridiculous. But what can we do- we have tied ourselves down to Utah, at least for the next three years (hello warm weather state after PT school).
We can't wait for the warm weather to come and stay. We have had so much fun taking Lola for walks and playing fetch in the park. She is getting so big so fast. She loves running faster than a speeding bullet to catch her ball, she is even starting to get pretty good at bringing it back. Lola's newest tricks include a combo of sit, shake, and sitting pretty. Her favorite activity has now become attacking the toilet paper rolls and running down the hall, leaving the entire house covered in tp. She also enjoys grabbing socks, underwear, and whatever other articles of clothing are in the hamper and running them downstairs and hiding them in the back of the kennel. She has become quite the pest, but she is so cute that it is hard to stay mad at her for long.
Our biggest excitement and pain in the butt is we are moving soon- but on the bright side it means we can get a new car :) I have to say car shopping is the worst though. Last saturday we almost walked out of Volkswagon with a brand new jetta that we weren't sure we wanted, and didn't really want to pay for either. Now Natalie's phone rings constantly from the several different dealers. but the car is on hold until after we get moved in- and maybe until after PT school starts (only one more month)
It seems like a lot more exciting things should have happened by now, but between the weather and Natalie's shoulder still hurting all the time it has put a big damper in our spring time fun, but hopefully things will pick up soon, before i retire my summer to the text books.
Miss Lola will be a fully-grown young lady dog before you know it! I'm sure I won't recognize her when I see her next.
