February was a rough month for the Andertons. After the month we had i strongly believe the bad things come in three. Kyle, Lola, and I all had our share of bad luck this month...
Kyle's was his wisdom teeth. They were so difficult that he was only able to get three removed. And the surgery was brutal! Kyle looked like death after he came out of surgery.
Natalie got hurt at Bath and Body Works on the 20th. Thanks to a box and a ladder I sprained/strained my rotator cuff and biceps tendon. Resulting in: a three hour stay at instacare, a black sling, and physical therapy (and not at mountainland where i work) Luckily though after 2 weeks of pain and rehab my shoulder is finally on the mend.
Lola is the worst of all. One week after we got our sweet puppy she came down with parvo. Parvo is a disease that can be very deadly to puppies. It makes it so the villi of the small intestines are unable to absorb nutrients. It also causes water to be pulled out of the body and into the gut tube, this also causes protiens to be pulled out. Lola first showed symptons on Tuesday night. Wednesday she was lethargic, got the positive parvo test and was hospitalized. On Saturday her white blood count had dropped from 18,000 on Wed. to only 1000 on Saturday. So to save our puppy we got her a plasma transplant. Luckily it worked she continued to rebound over the weekend. On Tuesday, Lola came home. Kyle got his birthday wish that his puppy would get better and would be able to come home. Lola still isn't 100% she sleeps a lot and hasn't had a huge appetite, but our puppy is home and is going to survive this awful disease.

We are so glad it is March! Spring is in sight and all of us are healing. Hopefully we will make it through March safe and healthy and avoid the dentist, instacare and the animal hospital.

So glad things are looking up for you guys. Happy first anniversary tomorrow! Can't believe it's been a whole year already.
