Date Night and Dog Lake

On Saturday night Kyle and I headed down to Orem to go see his friend Chris.  We decided since we were going to make the trip down there we might as well go have some fun before hand, since we were initially only planning on spending 10 minutes at the party.

We went to the shops at Riverwood and had Macaroni grill for dinner we also went to the Provo Beach Resort which was really cool and practiced our surfing skills

Next we went for a drive up Provo canyon and stopped at Bridal Veil Falls, and we drove all the way up to Sundance on a detour

After we finally made it to the party- but no pictures were taken so it isn't worth discussing

To celebrate Pioneer Day Lola, Nick, myself and a friend headed up to Dog Lake.  It was so much fun!  Lola is so cute- she was excited as soon as we got to the canyon.  She ran up the hills and down them, and was so excited to meet the other dogs, but her favorite part was playing catch in the lake.  She was chasing sticks, she was even willing to go all the way in.  It was so funny instead of doing the doggy paddle like a normal dog she would walk on her hind feet while doggy paddling with her front paws to get to the stick.  She had a blast.

Weddings

On June 1st we headed down to Vegas for Erin & Baron's Wedding.  It was ridiculously hot - 106 degrees, but it meant a lot of fun in the pool.
The Bride and Groom
It was a long, but great day of celebrating their wedding- lots of pictures, a  seven eleven run in a scary part of town,  wedding luncheon, swimming, and then the reception.

The next day we got to relax and enjoy the warm (106) Vegas sunshine.  We spent most of the day playing in the pool :)

The next weekend was when it got really crazy!  We were up in Ogden for the first part of the weekend for Erin and Baron's second reception and then off to Midway for my best friend Emily's wedding!

Emily's delicious wedding breakfast!
All of  the wedding madness was fun- but we are both so glad it is over- it has been so nice having our weekends back to ourselves again (especially since I have still had homework!)
